About Us

Judith B. Zacher, MD, FACS

Dr. Zacher combines surgical experience and medical expertise with an artistic sensibility in order to provide the best care for her patients.  Over the years, both in her own private practice and as a clinical assistant professor of surgery, Dr. Zacher has performed thousands of procedures and has seen a wide variety of patients.  Several medical journals have published articles authored by Dr. Zacher, and she keeps herself up-to-date on the latest developments in her field.  Dr. Zacher finds her work very rewarding, especially when she is able to use her knowledge to help women understand their options — and then use her skills to achieve the desired results.

After getting her medical degree and working for much of her career in Ohio, Dr. Zacher returned to Southern California in 1994, and she now enjoys being part of the Palm Desert community.  An accomplished pianist herself, Dr. Zacher promotes music education in local schools by serving on the board for the Steinway Society, and also serves on the board of the Virginia Waring International Piano Competition.
